Name: Muddypaw(snow)
Gender: She-cat
Age: 8 moons
Clan: RavineClan
Rank: Apprentice
Appearance: IMAGE REMOVED FOR STRETCHING THE BOARD
Muddypaw is a sweet, though perhaps a bit funny looking young cat. Her pelt is snowy white, except for a few odd patches of brown tabby coloring, for which she was named. These patches occur over half of her face, a couple of places on her back, the tip of her tail, and part of her front leg.
Her eyes are sea green, with a bit of a hazel hue, and probably one of the most captivating aspects of this young apprentice.
Muddypaw is of a pretty average height for a cat her age, not too tall, not too short. She is, however, a bit more on the lean side weight wise.
Having not been an apprentice for very long, she has no physical scars, though she does have some emotional ones(see history).
Over all, Muddypaw is a pretty nondescript cat, if you don't count her odd coloring that is.
Strengths: Speed is one of her biggest advantages. Though not the absolute fastest cat you'll ever meet, Muddypaw is quicker than a lot of her piers. This also makes her a pretty good hunter, although she does miss her target some times, considering she is just an apprentice, and a young one at that.
Weaknesses: Fighting has never been this apprentice's strong point. She was outclassed by her siblings in play fights... well at least before the accident. Her lighter weight made it hard to wrestle in close quarters with her opponents.
Personality: Muddypaw is a bit of a spitfire. After moons of being bullied by one of her bigger litter mates and roughhousing with the other two, this little cat learned to battle with words instead of teeth. Since she was always being beaten by her siblings in physical battles, she sharpened her tongue instead of her claws.
After the accident(see history), Muddypaw became even more defensive and angry. For a while, she wouldn't let anyone near her. If not for a friendly loner(history), she would probably sill be like that. Since the loner helped her, however, this young cat has gone back to being simply fiery and argumentative.
Her Clan's welfare has grown to be her first priority, with personal relationships far behind. In fact, she has absolutely no interest in toms for anything other than verbal punching bags. She's a bit more friendly to her fellow female apprentices, though they too get attacked by her sarcasm every now and again.
2. Spying on cats from tree branches
3. Climbing trees in general
4. Arguing with... well just about anyone
5. Long hunting trips/ walks by herself
6. Shiny things ;D
Dislikes: 1. Losing
2. Being stuck in the middle of a group (she's a little enochlophobic- afraid of being in crowds)
3. Foxes, badgers, dogs etc...
4. Cats who think they're amazing
5. Ravens and crows (She likes shiny things; they like shiny things. Neither of them like having their shiny things taken. This creates a problem.)
History: Muddypaw's birth was nothing special. Both of her parents, Poolwater and Grassclump, were from RavineClan. She had three brothers, Onyxkit, Owlkit, and Oakkit. All three of them were bigger then her, and they all enjoyed flaunting it, especially Owlkit. He was our white and tabby friend's main source of torment. Being the smallest, Muddypaw, then Muddykit, found her own way to protect herself. She insulted them. Of course she got in trouble with her mother, but Muddykit also noted that her brothers didn't try to bully her nearly as much.
It was right after Muddypaw and her siblings became apprentices that the accident happened. Muddypaw, Owlpaw, Onyxpaw, Oakpaw, and their parents were going on a hunt to celebrate the siblings' apprenticeship. Owlpaw had just caught a vole, and Oakpaw and Onyxpaw were fighting over who scared away a squirrel. It was then that disaster struck. Before any of the cats could respond, Grassclump lay dead, his neck in the jaws of a fox. Poolwater turned to avenge her mate, but soon she too lay dead. Now it was four untrained apprentices against one hungry, angry fox.
Onyxpaw, the kindest of the three brothers told Muddypaw to run back to camp and get help. He knew she was the fastest of the siblings. Muddypaw agreed uncharacteristically quickly and went to get help. Unfortuantely, when she got back, it was too late. Muddypaw's enitre family had been killed.
It was about a quater moon after the death of her family when Muddypaw met Adobe. Nothing had been going right in her life. She couldn't make friends; she had become way too guarded and angry. Even her hunting performance, which had always been her best area, had fallen. She had been wondering if perhaps it would be better to run away when she ran right into an elderly loner. Adobe listened quietly to the young cats rants, never interupting or arguing. After she had finished, Adobe told her about his life. He had been abandoned as a kit, and only kept alive because a queen took him in after two of her kits died. She chased him off after he was old enough to hunt for himself.
As the tom's story went on, Muddypaw began feeling more and more sorry for the old cat. His story made her feel better about her own life.
After talking with him, the apprentice's life went a bit more smoothly. She was able to let go of her past, though perhaps not her sharp wit.
Other: Anything else you'd like us to know about this cat? Optional.
Role-play Example: This is an example of one of my loners from another site.
Gray paws beat the ground. Heavy breaths brought life giving oxygen to his lungs. Keep running. Faster. Faster... The burning in his legs grew stronger, and finally he stopped. Right. Rest. I should probably do that..... Long legs stretched and carried him to the odd cluster of trees. Within it he found a large rock. Good place to rest.
A low grumbling came from him. Eh? Oh. I should probably eat too. I haven't done that in... a while. In truth, he couldn't really remeber the last time he stopped to hunt. He trotted away in search of prey. Haven't been here since I was barely more than a kit. I'm sure StarClan wouldn't mind me taking some fresh-kill. A brown pelt shot through the undergrowth. Claws flashed. The rabbit was dead. I mean it's not like StarClan is predjudiced. .. Not that I'm really all that different. I'm just a bit.. bigger. He polished off the last of the rabbit, leaving a pile of bones behind. The chausie got up again, stretched his long, lean legs and went to a little stream he knew nearby. I've got the same basic parts of a cat. Two ears, He flicked the long, tattered black appendages, Two eyes, four legs, he dipped the long gray limbs into the water, soothing the burning feeling. Dispite the fact that he rather enjoyed the burn, he knew he could run better when it wasn't there. A head, a body, and a tail, He turned and twitched his shortish fluffy tail. I'm a cat. I'm just.. different. Lonelyroad lifted his head and stared down the creek. I could probably follow this creek... at least until it ends. Maybe I'll find somewhere to stay for.. Ah who am I kidding. I could find paradise and I wouldn't stay there for more than a couple hours to get rested up. I love running to much. If I make it to StarClan, I'll probably hang around for a day or two, tops, before moving on. Is there somewhere to move onto in StarClan? I hope so.
Wit a sigh, the massive cat curled up near the rocks, resting his head against them. Sleep, then you can run again
